A great set of photos! I enjoy the colonial architecture, it is very elaborate in general and colourful!

I also enjoy looking at colonial buildings as against the high rises. "Driving on the left" in the US looks strange but could have been inherited by the inhabitants of Virgin Islands. The photographs, needless to say, are thrilling.

The Virgin Islands were certainly a different kind of Danish colonies, comparing with what’s now left, Greenland – of course not officially a colony and possibly with a lot value still to be discovered! Time for a visit? ... or maybe you were also there? :-)

Thanks for sharing the beautiful pics of St.Croix, US Virgin Islands. Wonder how the island got the name "Virgin" ?

Hi Gil, I love the post - everything is so colorful!
The sea is such a transparent blue it's amazing and I love the pastels of the buildings, and the green palms lining the streets.
I didn't know that they drive on the left there!
I hope that all is well with you.
