Hi Everybody! Things are reasonably stable here, which means tricky and, of course, stuck, at least for me... Speaking health, it can only get worse; taking into account the circumstances... Financially speaking, hopefully we’ll survive these crises, but at which cost? And as far as travel is concerned, desolation is the scenery... So, let’s get back and revive the past with a Day at Sea!! Enjoy and have a great week!!
The pictures are so beautiful, so serene...you certainly had a fantastic time!
Thanks for sharing these beautiful holiday photos. Your blog shows how big the world really is. Have a nice day.
Beauty by the sea...
love the tower and will see it in my dreams

Brilliant pictures, as always..... they reflect the magic of nature at its very best!
Amazing blueness of the sea! And those cliffs!!
Hi Gil,
Did someone mention sailing?
Yes I think we are in for a rough ride.
As long as there is wind and water!!!
Take it easy my friend.
blogging was not my favourite activity lately :), but now it's good to be back here, and see some wonderful images!
At least there are some good news ... when it comes to soccer! :-)
Corsica is just fabulous! I believe I recognize the house in Porto, where we spent summer holidays (too) many years ago with some excursions to Girolata, Ajaccio...
The pics of the sea and mountains are magnificent. Also superb pics of the light house, dolphin & yacht.
i could go for a day at sea..or sea beach right now!!
lovely pics as always!!!

Aaaah, sounds like you're not having a very good time lately! Love your photos though.
Hi Gil,
Whale and sunset are spectacular. Plus those endless sea and beautiful bays. Here's hoping life is gearing to it's normal course for you and family & blue sky holiday for you soon. Take care.

These are some of the most stunning photos I've seen on your blog, Gil!
The blue of the sea, the towering hills in the background, the surf, everything is just beautiful.
I wish I was there :)
It's fantastic that you got the chance to see whales. It's one of my dreams...
Hi Gil,
such awesome pictures...
Sailing against the sun wow simply superb...
Give me sometime to go through ur post which i missed for very longtime lol...
cheers,
Kven.
Stunning captures. I like the neat presentation.
I am finding myself short of words to appreciate your captures. Genoese Tower looks like the towers used by Parsis for disposing off the dead.
Very nice post. Loving those blue waters and what I wouldn't do to relax in that sail boat.

Love Capo Rosso rocks!
... and G@tto is back from the Kingdom of Bahrain. What a weird place! An artificial paradise where you can't but thinking at what's happening in their prisons...
nice to see you again!
what colors:)
I was especially intrigued with the whale show and loved my dinner at sea. :)
beautiful images as usual...
you take care!
Oh boy, so beautiful.
Wouldn't it be great just to forget euro and enjoy sun and easy life over 'there'.
Can't wait lighter days.
We're planning to visit Lisbon next spring...but we'll visit Berlin first in February...Take care!
amazing shots
I am glad to see you back :)
A slice of heaven, it is! I Like Mrs. Trotter's crown very much! ;-)
Thinking you you and your family, Gil.
Will be back to show my mother your photos of Corsica, later.

Hmmm that tower on top of a hill... Beautiful photos as usual! :)
I've loved all your blog posts about Corsica. It looks so rustic and beautiful. I would like to visit it one day, myself.
I would love to be here right now. ;-) I continue to send you good thoughts.
A wild and rugged coastline with breathtaking beauty. I would love to have lunch with that view. You find the best places for holidays.
Love the mountains and the shot of the sail in the never ending ocean is amazing...

Hello,
Spectacular photography. Some of the photos are too good to be true. You have truly excelled yourself. I enjoyed this post.
The wheel of fortune keeps moving up and down. If it goes down it will definitely go up shortly.
Best wishes,
Joseph
Sorry to hear that corners have not been turned for you and for so many. Know that your beautiful photos are appreciated. My special favorite of the group is "SAILING AGAINST THE SUN..." It is buoyant and free! May all go well.
Hello Gil, another very enjoyable post! Thanks for sharing these nice images and collages!
Happy Sunday :-)
Ooh...lovely shots of the ocean....makes me want to be by the sea!
Happy holidays to you!
Stunning blues..i wish i could walk around the place now
Hi Everybody! Now you know why surviving was a great achievement… ;)
Anyhow, back to business as usual, though the concern with the health of my parents grows every day. No wonder when dealing with people aged 94 or 90…
Thanks for dropping by and leaving your comments!!
Siddhartha,
Thanks for coming back here! A day at sea is always great and the blues are unbeatable!!
Alice SG,
Thanks! My pleasure!!
Thérèse,
Indeed!
Cloudia,
Aloha! There are dozens of Genoese towers in Corsica; some look better than others… ;)
Rakesh,
And the next post is even better as far as nature is concerned… ;)
Susu,
The blues are the best!! ;) And wait to see the cliffs of Scandola!!
Bob,
Hi Boy! Great to see you around!! Next sail is already posted... ;))
Take care!!
Lara,
I don’t know what happened to your blog! The link leads to a page with this message: «Account Not Found. The Aminus3 account you were looking for does not exist.» But I’m glad to see you’re there... ;)
Peter,
That’s true!! The 6-2 to Bosnia was well deserved... But I can’t believe Real Madrid lost again against Barça...
Porto is one of the places to stay on my next trip. This time lodged only in St. Florent, Porto Vecchio and Porticcio...
Ram,
Thanks!!
Part Two:
Star,
Sea or beach, anytime... ;)
Emm,
Everything explained in the introduction comment to the next post... further to everything else... But we’ll survive!!
Anonymous/Leo,
Thanks!!
Paul,
Thanks! That trip on the west coast of Corsica to the Scandola Natural Reserve was just awesome!!
Juka,
I must confess I was surprised to see whales in the Mediterranean Sea, but there they were waiting for us... ;)
Kven,
Great to see you back blogging and commenting! And great to read you here!!
Indrani,
Glad that you liked!!
P.N.,
Interesting comparison!!
Ron,
The sea is sometimes very relaxing; sometimes very troublesome... ;)
Part Three:
G@tto,
Bahrain? I was once at their airport flying back from Thailand in 1983... The Duty-free was already impressive!! But everything seems a bit weird in the region...
Ola,
Thanks! Blues are the best!!
Lynn,
I tell you, that was a gourmet restaurant in the most unexpected place... ;)
Magic,
Thanks!!
Blogitse,
We’ll be waiting for you!! Berlin must be freezing in February, but compared to Finland you may find it warm... ;))
Lady,
Thanks!!
Constance,
Empress!!
xoxo
Eye,
The Genoese built them in the best spots... ;)
Pat,
It’s beautiful indeed!!
Paz,
Thanks! I would love to be in NYC... ;)
Part Four and final, for the time being...:
Diane,
Girolata was an amazing surprise; and the restaurant was wonderful: excellent food and a superb view...
Friend,
Sailing against (or better, towards) the sun was excellent!!
Joseph,
Thank you! Hope it will go up that wheel... The forecast isn’t exciting... ;)
Ted,
Thanks!! We’ll survive!!
Pietro,
Great to have you here!!
Yvonne,
The sea is always very eye-catching...
Lucie,
Porto, au-delà du meilleur club de football du pays, a, quelques fois, une lumière absolument fascinante…
Lakshmi,
The blues are the best! Ever!!
Beautiful shots of the place. Wonderful rock formations.
Rajesh,
Indeed!
Corsica is on my list of places to go to in the future! It is indeed lovely there, as I have imagined.
Jen,
Start packing... ;)
